The Trees

For these local rockers, it all began in 1994 when they met at a jam session in Ware at the Brewery Tap as it was known then. Over the years, they have had weekly acoustic sessions at a number of pubs and clubs.



From pubs to IKEA sitting rooms, clubs to Lord’s Cricket Ground and tree houses to Churches, and a spot on BBC introducing's playlist and local radio stations comes Jessie Dipper.

Indie, acoustic odd-sock-wearing-Singer-songwriter with a folk, rock and soul inspired sound. As a solo musician, Jessie is equipped with pedal board and passion, enhancing her performance and live sound and merging her unique falsetto and gravel vocal tones.

Andy Connolly has been singing songs and playing guitar for as long as he can remember. With influences ranging from Bob Dylan, Dinosaur Jr. to R.E.M. and Radiohead. Mixed with particular love of folk music. Andy's songs are full of stories and surprises. He just can’t wait to share them with you at Escape!


Weather EYE

An eclectic, acoustic singer & songwriter duo with a folk-inspired sound. Led by the lyrics they create, Weather Eye approach each new song with a fresh perspective, creating a unique and varied music collection which merges Stuart's low and mellow tones with Hannah's pure, ethereal style.

Weather Eye formed just over a year ago and are currently working on their first EP, discovering their sound as each new song is crafted. Hannah and Stuart write about the joys and struggles of life, and the desire to find a place of peace and belonging in this crazy world.cxzczxczx




Carl Beech is an internationally renowned speaker, author and host of the ShedTalk podcast. Carl has ran many marathons, cycled from Lands End to John o’ Groats, from Calais to Nice, the whole length of Italy and from Port Elizabeth to Cape Town.

As leader of Christian Vision for Men, he spoken to gatherings of thousands around the world each year in countries as far afield as Cambodia. As well as being a motorbike fanatic, he co-leads a Church in Chesterfield in his spare time.

UK, European and World Champion power lifter, Arthur White, was a successful businessman and a happy family man. Then, his life spiralled out of control. Cocaine and steroid addiction and an affair wrecked his life. He lost his family, his business….everything. Death seemed the only way out.
